Join us on Saturday, January 28th from 9am-noon for our Family Christmas Bird Count at Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre.
Learn about winter birds, join a guided hike, or go out on your own. Enjoy hot cocoa and treats as we tally what we found and see if you can help us top our previous record. All sightings will be reported to Bird Studies Canada as part of the CBC4Kids. All ages are welcome!
Bring your binoculars and snowshoes or borrow a pair of ours.
Registration is required to attend this event. Link coming soon.
This is a free program offered by the Queen’s University Biological Station. We are always happy to accept donations to support environmental education initiatives and enhance our education and outreach programs.
