Join us Sunday, February 18th from 12 pm to 4 p.m. for an afternoon of ice fishing. Learn about what lurks beneath the ice and tips and tricks for success. Bring your own equipment or borrow one of our rods. When you’re done fishing, warm up by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa.
You are welcome to enjoy Elbow Lake anytime between 12-4 pm. There will be two fishing time blocks, 12-2pm and 2pm-4pm when you will have an opportunity to fish. These will be chosen at registration. When you are not fishing, you are welcome to warm up by the fire, drink hot chocolate, or explore one of our hiking trails.
Fishing licenses are not needed as it is License-Free in Ontario from February 17-19th, 2024.
Come for the afternoon or stay for the night in one of our heated cabins (special rate of $75/cabin). Overnight is from February 18th until 19th. Check-out is at 11 am on Monday.
Registration is required to attend this event.
Please note that Elbow Lake only allows the use of barbless hooks, no live bait, and is catch and release only.
