Grad Students looking forward to “Dissertation on the Lake”

Late August: The days are warm, the nights are cool, the bugs are gone – there is no better time to relax and wind up summer than… sitting at a computer trying to complete your doctoral dissertation? Fortunately for 34 Ph.D. candidates attending an upcoming writers’ bootcamp, the Queen’s School of Graduate Studies is hoping to replace punishment with pleasure at its upcoming “Dissertation on the Lake” retreat at the Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre. We look forward to welcoming these hard-working students to Elbow Lake!
