Now entering our second year of full operations, word about the Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre is growing! On a picture-perfect Sunday, May 25 we welcomed approximately 200 people to the facility for our annual Open House. While many visitors explored the facilities and trails on their own, all canoes were filled for the guided paddle, 30 people joined the interpretive hike, and the waterfront came alive as adults and children alike enthusiastically participated in a seine netting demonstration. Feedback on the event has been extremely positive, and we look forward to hosting you or your group at ELEEC in the future.
