An Enduring Symbol for the Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre

What does “Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre” mean to you? What symbol could best represent our facility, our property, and our values? This winter, a lot of thought was put to these two questions as Nancy McRae, a local artist and graphic designer, generously gave her time and services to design a logo for the ELEEC. The result is simply stunning: Nancy’s signature pines in the foreground, with a peaceful view down the “elbow” of the lake as a backdrop, all over bold lettering. We proudly released this graphic to the public at Open House, and are looking forward to having it represent our facility long into the future. Thank you, Nancy, for creating a strong and timeless logo!
