Family Winter Bird Count

Join us on Friday, January 5th from 10 am -2 pm for our Family Winter Bird Count at Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre.

Learn about winter birds and join a guided hike. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy hot cocoa and treats as we tally what we found and see if you can help us top our previous record. All sightings will be reported to Bird Studies Canada as part of the CBC4Kids. All ages are welcome!

Bring your binoculars and snowshoes or borrow a pair of ours (if we have snow).

Registration is required to attend this event.

This is a free program offered by the Queen’s University Biological Station. We are always happy to accept donations to support environmental education initiatives and enhance our education and outreach programs. Visit Here to Donate.
