A Walk with Dinosaurs: Natural History & Geology of Elbow Lake

2022 Elbow Lake Family Night- The Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre’s Outreach and Stewardship staff host a variety of exciting and educational programs every Thursday evening in July and August! These public events are free and all are welcome! Please register in advance to attend.

Interested in fossils and local natural history? Come learn about the local area’s geological history including glaciations, warm seas, and dinosaurs that once lived in the area. Supported by topics in geology including the Canadian Shield and the formation of limestone.  

Meet at 7:00 pm in the Pavilion for this free event or book your family/group into a cabin overnight (special rate $75/cabin). Registration for programming and overnight guests is required. This event will run rain or “shine”.
